On June 16, the SKGA flags flew on our greens - the Slovak Amateur Championship 2020.
Despite the "humble state", several foreign players took part in the four-day tournament. Players from Slovenia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Lithuania, together with Slovak players, again showed great performances. The course at Sedin Golf Resort - as always excellently prepared from tees to greens and practice areas, together with the changing weather tested the abilities of many of the participating players.
On Friday, June 19 - after the final round, however, it was decided.
In the women's category, last year's Slovak champion Katka Drocárová, who fought in the last round and the victory - national and international did not miss her this year either. Tonka Zacharovská finished second among Slovak players and Lea Klimentová third.
Luthuanian Starkute Gile Bite finished second in the international category.
In the men's category, there was something to look at from the beginning.
In addition to the local Tadeáš Teťák, we had the opportunity to watch a great game of Slovenians or young Hungarian hopes.
Tadeáš Teťák finally became the national and international champion, who after four rounds (-1, -1, par and -3) proved that honest training and experience from world tournaments are bearing fruit.
Matej Babic took second place in the national category and Lukáš Zušťák third.
In the international category, the silver went to the young Hungarian player Bence Kotel and the bronze went to the Slovenian Jan Hribernik.

However, the championship competition in Sedín does not end.
Already on Monday 22.6. Slovak Senior Amateur Championship 2020 starts at Sedin Golf Resort .
60 players are fighting for the national and international title of senior champion of Slovakia.
The first day of the Sedin tournament greeted the players with a strong wind, which did not prevent the seniors from giving excellent performances.
The final round will take place on Wednesday 24.6.
